About Us
- Bonnie and Bill
- We don't really know how to do a blog so be patient with us as we explore this and in time hopefully you will enjoy reading it. As we are retired now & have sold our house we live in a campground for the summer and now we are going to travel to find a place to call home for the winter months. This blog is about our travels in our quest to find that place we can call home for the winter. We will enjoy having you along with us on our travels.

At Jim & Patti's
Jim and Patti cooked us a nice spaghetti dinner with one small mishap. Flames where shooting out of the oven. We never had such a warm welcome! Smoke filled the room till Jim got the big fan out. The spaghetti was delicious but the bread was a little overdone.
Had a wonderful time visiting, and looking forward to the next adventure filled visit.
Nastalgiaville
We stopped for a short break to check out this cool shop called Nastalgiaville USA. It had all kinds of old stuff that reminded us of our youth and a lot of fun glasses. The first picture was on a billboard across the road from the shop.

Tomahawk Campground
We stopped at another Wal-Mart to spend the night and decided to find a campground. We went to the Tomahawk Campground in Pocahontas, Illinois. These are pictures from there. Some of the seasonal sites were nice but the transient ones could have been better.
On Our Way to Tomahawk Campground
As we were traveling along we saw what we thought was smoke because it was to late in the day for fog. It was neither it was just crop dusting. Then we came upon this cool bridge that had jets on it. After that we saw this cool house. Going through Indianapolis we saw the stadium where the 2012 Super Bowl will be held.
Close Trucks
This is how close a LOT of the trucks were driving next to each other. Scary! If you look close the front truck is over one line and the next truck is up to the line behind the first. This is going 65 miles per hour. They are NUTS!!!!!
2nd Night Wal-Mart
So our 2nd night was at a Wal-Mart in Mansfield Ohio. They sell alcohol in Wal-Mart here. Gas in Ohio was $2.75. Going down the road in Ohio there were MANY billboards for PORN stores. Unbelievable.
Scenery on the Way to Ohio
This post is pretty much just pictures of the fog we had to go through and scenery on the way to Ohio our next stop.
