About Us

My photo
We don't really know how to do a blog so be patient with us as we explore this and in time hopefully you will enjoy reading it. As we are retired now & have sold our house we live in a campground for the summer and now we are going to travel to find a place to call home for the winter months. This blog is about our travels in our quest to find that place we can call home for the winter. We will enjoy having you along with us on our travels.

Watch out for Burros on the road.

Watch out for the hair-pin turns.

Notice the road we're on seldom has guard rails
to keep you from going over the cliffs.
(Right side of picture).

One of the mines that recently reopened.

 Lots of sharp turns.

Look at the size of these Century plants.
They're called Century plants because they bloom once a century.

They put these stickers on the young Burros
so people won't feed them carrots.

 Sign says your open.

 Some huge cactus.

Looks like this wild Burro was in a fight.
